Spring 2026 Season

 DATES OF ACTIVITIES

North Torrance Little League Spring Season runs late January through June 2026 (exact dates TBD).

LOCATION:
All games will take place at Hamilton Fields in North Torrance.
Practices will be held at the NTLL fields at Hamilton Fields or at surrounding school fields.

AGES:
Boys & Girls, ages 4–13, are welcome — regardless of skill level.
Player’s League Age is based on how old the player will be on August 31, 2026.

 SCHOOL ENROLLMENT FORM

This form does not need to be filled out at this time. Please select the appropriate school during registration. If your school is not listed, select Other.

 NEW FOR 2026!

We can accept any child who wants to play in North Torrance Little League, as long as they are League Age 7 or younger (age as of 8/31/2026) — or are older siblings of such a child.
League Age 7 players are those entering their first year in the NTLL Farm Division.

Children League Age 8 or older (as of 8/31/2026) must live or attend school within our league boundaries.
Boundaries include all of the 90504 zip code (North Torrance) and portions of Gardena and Carson.
Players outside this area must request a waiver or qualify via a sibling rule (having a sibling League Age 7 or younger also registering at NTLL).

 REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fees include:

• Team Jersey & Hat

• At least one weekly field practice for TBall and Rookie divisions
  (Farm, Minor, and Major divisions typically have 1–2 field practices plus 1 batting cage session per week.)

Registration is closed after Dec 31, 2025.

Players must provide their own:

• Baseball glove

• Batting helmet

• Baseball bat (USA Baseball certified)

• Baseball pants and cleats

• Boys must wear a protective cup

 UNIFORMS

Please select the correct uniform size during registration — this is the size used when uniforms are ordered.
Hats will be snapback (no size needed).

 SEASON TIMELINE

Practices begin in late January or early February (depending on coach).
Opening Day and games are planned for Saturday, February 21, 2026 (weather permitting).
Most divisions will conclude in early June, with Closing Day & Championship Games expected on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

For Minor & Major players:

• Seasons may extend into mid/late June if teams win their division.

• All-Star selections may extend play into July or August.

 LEAGUE PHILOSOPHY

From TBall through Majors, the NTLL Board of Directors, managers, and volunteers focus on player development — regardless of experience or skill level.
We are an instructional league first and foremost.

 REGISTRATION DATES

To ensure every player receives proper development, each division has a registration cap based on the number of available Volunteer Managers.
The more volunteers we have, the more players we can register — so please consider managing a team!

 Divisions may reach capacity before the end of the registration period.
If your child’s division becomes full and they are placed on a waitlist, NTLL will contact you with updates on availability.
Spots may open as additional volunteer managers step up to lead new teams.

 DIVISION CAPACITIES

There will be a cap for each division.
This number is 100% based on the total number of Volunteer Managers available.
An estimated registration cap is already in place for all divisions based on historical player registration and volunteer data.

 The more volunteers we have, the more roster spots can open up.
Register early to ensure your child has a spot before capacity is reached in their division.

Refund Policy:
Once teams have been formed, no refunds will be issued for withdrawals.

 SNACK BAR REQUIREMENTS

Each registered player’s family must work two (2) snack bar shifts during the season (including tournaments).

• Families may buy out of this requirement for $200 per player.

• Otherwise, families must provide two (2) $100 deposit checks per player at registration.

• After the season, checks will be destroyed once both shifts are confirmed as completed.

• If only one shift is completed, one check will be cashed.

Exemptions:

• NTLL Board Members and approved Team Managers (due to their volunteer commitments)

 KEY LEAGUE DATES

 PLAYER ASSESSMENTS (Farm, Minor & Major Divisions)

Every Farm, Minor, and Major player must attend a Player Assessment.

Players wishing to “play up” to an older division must attend both their age-appropriate and older division assessments.
If Division Managers and the NTLL Board determine the player has the skill set to play up, they may be moved into that division’s draft.
Players must rank in the top 30% of all assessed players in the older division to be considered.

Important:
We cannot accommodate teammate or manager requests in the Major, Minor, or Farm divisions, as teams are selected via a draft.
Once drafts are finalized, team rosters are final.
